Step aboard the Jonathan Padelford this morning. The Padelford Packet Boat Company offers your groups a unique experience on one of the few truly authentic sternwheelers on the Mississippi River. Spot bald eagles, egrets, herons and falcons as your group travels back in time from St. Paul’s bustling downtown harbor through the Mississippi National Great River Park.

12 – 2:00pm
Stop for lunch at one of St. Paul’s many group-friendly restaurants.

2 – 5:00pm
At the junction of the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers is Historic Fort Snelling. For centuries, this site has been significant to many Native American communities. Built in the early 1820s, this is a great place to learn about military history from the pre-Civil War era through World War II, as well as fur trade history, slavery in Minnesota, the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862 and much more.

5 – 8:00pm
With more than 100 upscale outlet shops, your groups will find all they need and want at the Twin Cities Premium Outlets. Newly opened in 2014, this is the largest outlet mall in the Upper Midwest. Your groups will enjoy covered walkways for year-round outdoor shopping! Stop at one of the mall’s many restaurants for dinner.

Find rest and relaxation in Eagan. Choose from 16 incredible hotels that all offer free onsite motorcoach parking and are just a few minutes from all that the Twin Cities have to offer.

In the rolling hills of southern Minnesota, Next Chapter Winery stands out amidst the rustling corn and bean fields. Family-owned and operated, this winery focuses on sustainably crafting barrel-aged wine with grapes from both their vineyard and from California. After driving through the tree-canopied driveway and being greeted by their friendly family dog, you’ll immediately feel at home. The owner, Timothy, loves to stop into the newly-renovated 1910 Red Tasting Barn to give impromptu tours of the vineyard, solar panel-covered winery, barrel room, and event tent, where they hold weddings, parties, and other celebrations all year long. Lunch, dinner, beer, and of course wine are available for your enjoyment.
