Arrive in Fargo, ND and check into the Settle Inn & Suites, conveniently located just south of I-94. They are in the heart of the business, shopping and restaurant district and a quick and easy drive to and from anywhere in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
2 – 4:00 pm
Located adjacent to the hotel is the Red River Zoo. Spend some time this afternoon at the zoo among its outstanding living collection. They feature exotic and native animals and plants from areas around the world with similar climates to the Red River Valley. Be sure to take a trip back in time with a ride on the zoo’s restored 1928 antique carousel.
4 – 6:00 pm
Take some time to shop along Broadway in downtown Fargo, featuring many unique and specialty shops to help you find that sweet item to take home.
6 – 7:30 pm
From simple to elegant, from fast food to haute cuisine, Fargo-Moorhead is a virtual smorgasbord of dining choices. With more than 350 restaurants, there’s no end to the culinary variety your group can choose for dinner tonight ~ enjoy!
Your group will delight in spending the evening at the Fargo Theatre. This restored 1926 landmark is the area’s only remaining vintage movie palace with a vaudeville stage. Now serving as a multi-purpose facility, showing films and live productions. It also houses a restored theatre pipe organ, the “Mighty Wurlitzer.”
8 – 9:00 am
Start your day right with the Settle Inn’s complimentary deluxe “Kick Start” Breakfast Buffet serving hot and cold food items.
9 – 10:00 am
If your group has a great movie-type sense of humor, a stop at the “The Woodchipper” Exhibit at the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center is a must! Yup…THAT woodchipper! They have both the REAL movie prop and a fun replica paying homage to that famous scene from the movie “Fargo.” It is a great photo op for visitors to FARGO! It just wouldn’t be right not to stop by!
