Ashfall Fossil Beds State Historical Park

Visit an unforgettable Wonder of the Natural World; Ashfall Fossil Beds, located in northeast Nebraska. See three-dimensional preserved fossil skeletons of ancient animals locked in their death poses; this is an actual fossil site that is actively excavated. Cheyenne County

With a rich mix of history and modern growth, Sidney, Nebraska offers plenty to see and enjoy. Witness some of that history at the Fort Sidney Museum and the Post Commanders Home. To experience the “Wild West” attend the Gold Rush Days Celebration. It’s fun for the whole group. If you’d prefer a more modern tour, Sidney has many activities and celebrations to enjoy such as a championship 18-hole golf course, a disc golf course, a shooting park and a full service community center. One of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations and the Rod N Roll show are held in October.

The Prairie Loft Center for Outdoor and Agricultural Learning ( will be the perfect spot for groups to hear presentations and do hands-on activities involving outdoor and agriculture related topics. Attendees will also enjoy wildlife viewing along the Platte River at the Nebraska Nature and Visitor Center, ( during the annual Sandhill Crane migration or throughout the year. Additionally, the US Meat and Animal Research Center ( will give you a greater understanding of research being done to ensure quality in agricultural production, assessing America’s nutritional needs and enhancing our natural resource base and the environment.


From great attractions and restaurants to hot rates on group hotels, Kearney has it all for your group. Kearney is a treasure trove of museums, including the Museum of Nebraska Art, home to the State’s official art collection, the Trails & Rails Museum and Great Platte River Road Archway described by the Miami Herald as a “splashy, brassy history museum that uses film, computer graphics, light and sound, life-size dioramas, re-enactors and classic cars to document over 150 years of transportation and communication across America.” The Archway brings the westward migration to life. Nebraska City
