This sample itinerary can be customized for any time of year.

Plymouth is the ideal place for your groups to rest, relax and rejuvenate. Located in Sheboygan County, Plymouth is not far from major cities like Milwaukee, Green Bay and Chicago. Make it your mission to check out all 21 of their murals!

11:00am – 1:00pm
Discover the history of the Plymouth region with a visit to the Plymouth Historical Society. This museum contains many exhibits including a general store, vintage parlor, cheese making implements, the Curtis Collection of vintage clothing, an extensive collection of Indian arrowheads and artifacts, and much more, with changing exhibits throughout the year.

1 – 3:00pm
Take a Historic Walking Tour through Plymouth. Find 52 points of interest, some of which are on the National Register of Historic Places.

3 – 5:00pm
Go back in time at Henschel’s Indian Museum & Trout Farm. Smiles and welcoming arms will greet your group as you arrive at the Henschel Site. The museum features artifacts found on the Henschel Site and surrounding area, as well as collections on loan. The ancient springs of this land were a source of fresh water for the indigenous people of the area.

5 – 6:00pm
Formerly a stagecoach inn, the historic Wade House is a three-story frame building welcoming groups year-round. View many of the original early American furnishings of the house as well as the Jung Carriage Museum, featuring over 100 vehicles in one of the nation’s finest carriage collections. The Wade House offers Civil War reenactments on an annual basis.

6 – 7:00pm
Stop into one of Plymouth’s group-friendly restaurants for dinner.

7 – 8:00pm
Spend the evening searching for Plymouth’s famous murals! Known as the “Mural Capital of Wisconsin,” Plymouth has 20+ murals painted around the city. These murals capture the nostalgia and historic significance of Plymouth’s rich business history.
