8 – 9:30 am
Start your adventure with one of the largest all-sports stores in the world, Scheels. The focal point of the store is the “Scheels Wheel.” This 45-foot, 12-car 1953 park-style Ferris wheel was completely refurbished and features a colorful light display. The store has 85 specialty shops under one roof, making it the ultimate destination for athletes, fans and outdoor sport enthusiasts.
9:30 – 12:00 pm
Move on to the newly revitalized downtown and explore the renovated Hotel Donaldson while enjoying their unique collection of art. Stroll across the street to Barbara’s 1st & Deli for a great meal and European dessert. A little variety is always a must at Zandbroz Variety offering a unique shopping experience, and don’t forget to stop at Antiques on Broadway to browse their treasures.
12 – 2:00 pm
Your shopping adventure does not end yet! Visit the largest shopping mall between Minneapolis and Spokane. The West Acres Shopping Center features over 125 specialty stores, a Food Court with fireplace, and the Roger Maris Museum.
2 – 3:00 pm
Sweet stop coming up! Sample the delicious homemade candies such as the local favorite — chocolate-covered potato chips, called “chippers,” caramels, fudge, and many others at Carol Widman’s candy store.
3 – 5:00 pm
Board the motorcoach for a short trip to Moorhead, Minnesota and climb aboard the S.S. Ruby Pontoon for a relaxing ride down the Red River. A knowledgeable captain will tell you about the history, geography and wildlife that lives in and along the river.
5 – 6:00 pm

Travel downtown to the Moorhead Center Mall. They offer Herberger’s and unique local stores in a warm community setting. Best yet, the mall is located east of the river, so there is no sales tax on clothes and shoes!
11 – 1:00 pm
Your final stop is the region’s largest multi-dealer mall, Moorhead’s Antique Mall. Featuring more than 65 dealers displaying furniture, general line antiques and collectibles over a span of 8000 square feet. A perfect place to discover a treasure!
