From Itineraries Midwest Spring Issue 2010

This sample itinerary can be customized for anytime of the year.

Day One

9 – 11:00 am
Begin your day in Augusta, Wisconsin with a visit to The Wood Shed, an Amish furniture store with high quality gifts, furniture and decorations for your home. Arrangements can be made for Amish Tours as well at certain times of the year.

11 – 12:30 pm
Swing into Eau Claire and have lunch at one of their many restaurants.

12:30 – 2:30 pm
Learn a little (or a lot) at the Chippewa Valley Museum. Its exhibits and historic buildings tell stories, surprising, entertaining, enriching, personal, and authentic stories that illuminate the Chippewa Valley for those near and far, but also helps tell the larger story of America.

2:30 – 4:00 pm
Motorcoaches are welcome at the Autumn Harvest Winery in Chippewa Falls. Everything from start to finish is done by hand at this Winery. Sample wine, gourmet foods, cheese, breads, or peruse the gift shop with fresh baked goods on the weekends. Enjoy harvest items and events during the fall season.

4 – 5:30 pm
It’s time to head over to Fanny Hill’s Dinner Theatre, perched atop a bluff overlooking the city of Eau Claire. Depending upon the size of your group – you can stay at Fanny Hills’ B&B or at a local group-friendly hotel of your choice.

5:30 – 10:00 pm
Time to enjoy great food, great shows, great service, great scenic beauty and just to keep them apart from the rest, great seasonal decorations. (Matinees and evening performances are available and provide your group with many scheduling options.)
