This sample itinerary is best during the spring, summer & fall months, but can be customized for any time of year.
3 – 7:00pm
Start your adventure at Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan. With nearly 2,000 acres, this beautiful park offers miles of trails and lakes for year-round outdoor sports, recreation, and environmental education. Visit the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center for park information, interactive nature displays, courses and programs, and access to all other park adventures. Your groups can rent equipment like kayaks in the summer, or cross-country skis in the winter. If you’re up for a swim, this park is home to Schulze Lake Beach, a popular swimming spot because of its sandy beach and clear water. It is also home to the West Trailhead, featuring over 12 miles of the best mountain biking trails in the region.

11:00am – 4:00pm
A one-hour drive southwest will bring you to Kasota, MN for a one-of-a-kind experience at Drive A Tank. Your groups will be able to drive around in tanks, shoot WWII machine guns, and crush cars. Spend a little more and even demolish a trailer home! With a wide range of packages, they will work with you to customize the perfect experience for your group.
4 – 8:00pm
On your way back to Eagan, a stop in Apple Valley is a must. Here you will find The Minnesota Zoo. Situated on 400 wooded acres, this zoo is home to over 4,700 animals that represent over 500 species from five continents. Say “aloha” to the zoo’s newest residents: five critically endangered Hawaiian monk seals!
10:00am – 3:00pm
A 30-minute drive southeast will bring you to Hastings, where another unique attraction awaits. Extreme Sandbox lets your groups play on construction equipment! Yes that is right, your groups can drive a 19-ton excavator or bulldozer for FUN! Focusing on safety, Extreme Sandbox provides groups with opportunities that go beyond just operating their sandbox toys.
3 – 8:00pm
On your way back to Eagan take a detour to the Mall of America in Bloomington. After your three days of adventure, you may need to gear up at one of the many sporting goods stores or any of the 520 stores offered at the mall. The Mall of America has something for everyone! For the non-shopaholics in your group, check out one of the 50 restaurants for a bite to eat, or explore one of several attractions, including: SEA LIFE® Minnesota Aquarium, A.C.E.S. Flight Simulation Center, Moose Mountain Adventure Golf, FlyOver America, and more!
